ALMENCARD - guest card with added value year-round

Available free of charge as Edelweiss-Guests for the duration of your stay. This guest card enables the following services.

  • Free use of South Tyrol’s public mobility (trains and buses) all year round including the cable car from Rio di Pusteria to Maranza, the cable cars Bolzano-Renon, Postal-Verano, Meltina-Vilpiano, the tramway on the Renon, the funicular up the Mendola.
  • Participation in the weekly programme of the ski & alpine pasture region Gitschberg Jochtal/Rio Pusteria


In addition, the following advantage with free mountain cable cars:
Summer 2025: One daily free ascent and descent of the "Nesselbahn" mountain cable car on the mount Gitschberg and the Jochtal mountain cable car in the following periods: Thursday, 29 May 2025 up to and including Friday, 11 July 2025 and Monday, 15 September 2025 up to and including Saturday, 1 November 2025.

During the summer season, when the lift facilities are not included, you can choose attractive multi-day ticket options (for a fee):

  • Week ticket: use of the Gitschberg and Jochtal cable cars for 7 days
  • 4 in 7 days ticket: use of the Gitschberg and Jochtal cable cars on 4 days of your choice within a 7-day period
  • 2 in 3 days ticket: use of the Gitschberg and Jochtal cable cars on 2 days of your choice within a 3-day period
